Buy Computer or get a Computer Assembled.



Hello I am a Computer Hardware and Network Engineer.
For me Assembling is not a profession, but it is a Hobby for me.
I love to be in contact with new technologies, coming in the field of Computers.
I would like to share my thoughts with people regarding Assembled Computers and Branded Computers.


Many people think that Assembled Computers are not reliable.

I would like to make it clear that even Branded Computers are Assembled at some place or other.
Before getting a Computer Assembled, make it sure that person assembling your computer is well qualified and trustworthy.
Just because of some cheat people who use local components, old components, in Assembling a computer and take undue advantage of people who have no knowledge of Computer field, People think that Assembled Computers are not reliable.


Advantages of getting Computer Assembled

It cost much less than the Branded Computers.
You can get it assembled according to your need, your budget, and according to your purpose, etc.
Assembled Computer are easier to upgrade and repair then Branded computer.
You get what you have paid for.


Disadvantages of Getting Assembled Computer

People get cheated very easily by the vendor(shops).
It is a headache to choose the shop and all that configuration.
It take lot of time to go Computer market and choose the shop.
Some times Customer had to pay thousands of rupees extra just because they don’t know much knowledge of the Field
Many times customer does not get what he had paid for. And customer come to know about it after a long time.
Many time you get duplicate or old or outdated components.
It is not easy to get money back or claims back after some time.


Things to take care before buying a Assembled Computers

Before buying a Branded or Assembled Computer, gather some knowledge of Computer, their parts, company and manufacturer of computer components, and best component brand used now a days.
Analyze your need, your budget, your purpose of buying a computer, etc.
Always take advice from some person, who has knowledge in this field.
Go to the Computer Market and do survey before buying a computer.
Compare the price offered by the shops and for what configuration.


Things to take care at the time of getting Computer Assembled

Always insist to get best brand component assembled.
Pay Attention while Assembling,
Check whether component used while Assembling are sealed or not. Never accept components with broken seal.
Always keep all boxes and cover of the components, now a days all manufacturer use 3D hologram on the box or the cover of components.
Always keep the warranty or guarantee papers of all the components.
Insist on original bill from the shop keeper and get it signed by the shopkeeper. Keep it safe, you may need it as proof in future.
Always pay attention whether you have the original Driver CD of all the components, Which comes free with all the Devices Assembled like DVD ROM, Motherboard, Printer, etc.

Solution

All this is just for Advise and I am not going to claim that above all that is completely a foolproof idea or way.
There is no complete foolproof idea or way to Buy a Branded or Assembled Computer. The only thing you can do is to stay Alert and don’t hesitate to ask anything.
After all everyone has to pay money for its showroom, big shops, for their advertisements, taxes and their own expenses.
And all that comes from the pocket of the Customers.
A cheat always finds it way to defy the rules.

As I have said earlier that Assembling Computer is not my profession, till now. But I love to assemble computer and get paid for.
It is just like part time Income for me. I am learning and used to get my expenses paid from Assembling Computers.
